Yetis Clip Reef Divers 5-4 in WR Contest
Despite a great performance by Cozumel starter Carlos López, the Yonkers Yetis defeated the Reef Divers by the score of 5-4 at The Island Ballpark today. López threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball, but he couldn't prevent the Yetis from moving one game closer to the Elite Eight. Yonkers now leads the Wildcard Round 2-1.

Brendan Robertson, the 32-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Robertson contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Yonkers up, 5-4.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Robertson, "one at-bat at a time."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Island Ballpark in Denver.
