Yonkers Tops Dallas Again, 4-2
The Yonkers Yetis got a strong performance from pitcher Dan Olson, who stymied the Dallas offense en route to a 4-2 win in Game 2 of the Elite Eight today. The Steers could never get a bead on the left-handed Olson, who threw 8.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The Yetis now hold a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Yonkers relied on the hitting of Alfonso Reyna to pick up the win. The catcher ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Yetis on top, 3-1. For the game, Reyna had 1 triple and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"Things aren't going great right now," Dallas manager Arturo Mesa said. "But you don't need me to tell you that."

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace in Yonkers.
