Almost There: Seattle On Cusp of FF Triumph After 7-3 Win
The Seattle Admirals moved to within one game of the World Series today, downing the Yonkers Yetis on the road at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace by a score of 7-3. Admirals right-hander Stephen Priester had a strong outing. He threw 5.1 innings of 1-hit ball. The win gives the Admirals a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Final Four.

Seattle relied on the bat of Pablo Torres to get the win. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Admirals ahead, 3-0. For the game, Torres had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Priester said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Game 5 is scheduled for Monday at The Ship Yard in Seattle.
