RubberDucks Pull Back to .500 With Win Over D-Bags
|
Spirited fans greeted the Jersey Shore D-Bags for their clash with the Charleston RubberDucks.
Charleston shortstop Phil Langdon contributed to his team's 4-0 win over the Jersey Shore D-Bags. Langdon went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the RubberDucks. Charleston pitcher Joe Fahey got the win. He's now 3-0. Jaime Ayala was tagged with the loss.
Early in the game, Langdon had a run-scoring double for Charleston. It was his 15th double of the season and put the RubberDucks on top, 1-0.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Langdon said.
Charleston is now 62-62.
