Seals Get One-Run Win at Yonkers
|
San Francisco picked up a win at The Ballpark at Sloss Furnace, toppling the Yonkers Yetis, 4-3. Pitcher Troy Vogel was one of the reasons the Seals triumphed. The 'W' lifts San Francisco's record to 55-76.
San Francisco needed the clutch hitting of Ken Hickman to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Seals on top, 4-2. For the game, Hickman had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Seals manager Kenny Stevens. "This one was nice to get."
