The Nashville G-Strings topped the Dallas Steers by the score of 6-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Joseph MacDonald. MacDonald was 3-4 with 3 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the G-Strings on the day. The win makes Nashville 55-77.

MacDonald had a game-changing double in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch changeup from Don Tanner, he banged a run-scoring double to right, giving the G-Strings a 5-4 lead. It was the 31st double of the year for MacDonald.

"We'll try to build on that win," MacDonald told the Nashville Daily News.
