The Yonkers Yetis dumped the New York Knights, 8-3, in large part due to right fielder Eduardo Ángel. On the day, Ángel went 2-2 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs for the Yetis. Dave Seagraves was the winner. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. With the victory, the Yetis upped their record to 77-67.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Ángel, who won the MVP Award in 2048, hit a bases-clearing double. It propelled the Yetis into the lead, 6-3.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Ángel told the Yonkers Bulletin.
