Steers Hand Gang Green 4-2 Loss
|
Starting pitcher Daniel Díanz had a solid game. He was a big reason the Dallas Steers throttled the Irvine Gang Green, 4-2. Bernard Cháves got the save, his 34th in 38 chances. Dallas, at 90-62, is 3½ games up in the Heart Division.
Dallas used a clutch hit from Claudio Ramos to get the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Steers ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Díanz told the Dallas Daily.
