Cummings K's 10 En Route to 2-1 North Stars Win
Minnesota pitcher Brendon Cummings did his part in helping his team beat the Long Island Ducks, 2-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. With the win, Minnesota raised its record to 28-24.

Cummings was in the zone all game. He frustrated Long Island hitters while giving the North Stars 7 innings of quality work. Cummings threw 90 pitches, allowing 3 hits and getting 10 punchouts.

"Brendon was really good, wasn't he?" said Minnesota manager Florêncio Grandela.
