Injury Setback for Green Sox Cuevas Monday, May 15th , 2051 Xavier Cuevas is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a ruptured finger tendon. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Green Sox sent the 31-year-old reliever back to the doctors for reexamination. Cuevas told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Cuevas will now miss a minimum of 4 months. Xavier Cuevas is expected to undergo surgery in Lubbock(Texas) tomorrow. |
