Chad O'Slattery Out for One Week Friday, August 18th , 2051 Chad O'Slattery at first refused to leave today's Phoenix-St. Charles game after he suffered forearm tendinitis while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty St. Charles starting pitcher said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep O'Slattery out of action for one week. On the season O'Slattery has 7 wins and 9 losses and a 4.35 ERA. |
