Eagles Lose Allen for 6 Weeks Wednesday, August 23rd , 2051 Houston Eagles left fielder Travis Allen left yesterday's game against the Seattle Admirals after suffering a strained abdominal muscle running the bases. Allen was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Allen is expected to miss 6 weeks. This year Allen is hitting .284 with 36 home runs and 78 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .370 clip and scored 77 runs. |
