New York's Trevor Simmons Suffers Setback Tuesday, August 29th , 2051 Trevor Simmons was taking it slow and easy nursing shoulder tendinitis back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a New York team official, "Trevor was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 28-year-old Knights shortstop will be out at least another 2 weeks. A look at his season totals shows Simmons with 10 home runs, .215 BA, .282 OBP, 39 RBIs and 46 runs scored. |
