Ruíz Gone for Season in San Jose Friday, September 16th , 2044 Ramón Ruíz has to call it a season. The San Jose Athletics reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Seattle Admirals and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Ruíz was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 10 months. |
