Baysox Starting Pitcher Fournet Injured Thursday, September 7th , 2051 Charm City Baysox starting pitcher Eric Fournet suffered a rotator cuff strain during a recent game with the Charleston RubberDucks and will miss 5 weeks. Fournet told BNN, "I hurt it throwing a pitch. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." To date this season Fournet sports a 8-8 mark with a 4.40 ERA in 26 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .271 batting average and has 102 strikeouts in 145.1 innings. |
