Rivers Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Sunday, September 17th , 2051 Vic Rivers, center fielder for the Cervezas de Miami, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 5-4 victory today over the Houston Eagles at Eagles Park today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Houston manager Eichiro Yamamoto said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Vic Rivers grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 10th.
