Emery Fairman Out 5 Weeks Wednesday, September 20th , 2051 The Irvine Gang Green learned that Emery Fairman is likely to be out for 5 weeks after he injured himself throwing the ball in today's game against the Dallas Steers. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be an elbow strain. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Irvine manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Emery is back in action." In his season totals, Fairman has 1 home run, .264 BA, .312 OBP, 29 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has played in 93 games. |
