Mark Cudlip Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Monday, September 25th , 2051 Greenville shortstop Mark Cudlip could miss the remainder of the season because of a strained abdominal muscle. He exited yesterday's Vista game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Cudlip would be out 6 weeks. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." Cudlip is hitting .252 this season with 33 home runs, 94 RBIs and 87 runs scored. He has 127 hits in 503 at-bats. |
