Wild Card Clinched by Charm City Saturday, September 30th , 2051 The Charm City Baysox clubhouse was filled with loud music and revelry late into the night, as the team celebrated a Baseball Stars Association wild card position. The team, whose record stands at 87-73, battled throughout the year, but ultimately saw the quest for the playoffs come down to the season's final games. "I'd be lying if I said we knew we were going to make it," said closer Eduardo López. "We did have confidence, but in the back of your mind you always wonder what's going to happen. There were some good teams pushing us." Now the Baysox don't have to worry, as they are in position to potentially win the 3rd Baseball Stars Association championship in franchise history. |
