The Math Says - D-Bags Out of Playoffs Monday, October 2nd , 2051 When it comes to a late-season playoff disappointment, the old axiom "wait until next year" isn't overly comforting. "We really thought we would get into the playoffs this year," said Jersey Shore D-Bags first baseman Todd Abbott. "It's really disappointing to come up short." Jersey Shore last appeared in the postseason in 2042. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 27 times in their 45-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the D-Bags have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
