Wildcard Round Goes the Distance, Vista Prevails Tuesday, October 10th , 2051 The Vista Panthers and Irvine Gang Green put on a classic Wildcard Round that was in question until the final game. In the end, Vista won the deciding contest by a score of 4-2, to take the series 3-2. "It doesn't get much tighter than that. To win a series in the last game is a thrill," said Adrián Hurtado, who earned series MVP honors for Vista. "Our guys are breathing a little easier now." For the series, Hurtado hit .333 with a .364 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Vista Panthers will play against the Dallas Steers in the next round.
