His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Pacific Coast League Reliever of the Year Award for 2051.
The Pasadena, Texas native won the award with 7 saves in 36 relief appearances, 76 strikeouts in 60.1 innings and a record of 5-2 to go with his 2.54 ERA.

He may only be 24, but Steve Proctor of the Detroit X-Wings has already established himself as one of the elite relievers in the International League.
The reliever was today named the ITL Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2051.
He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 39 saves in 51 relief appearances and 62 strikeouts in 54.1 innings. He had a record of 2-1 to go with his 0.99 ERA.
