Rainbows Tim Ashley Down and Out for Year Wednesday, July 26th , 2051 The Reading Rainbows were dealt a blow today when reliever Tim Ashley left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Ashley has suffered bone chips in his elbow and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. This season Ashley has chalked up no saves, notched a 3-4 record with a 4.93 ERA, allowed 46 hits in his 45.2 innings of work, struck out 42 and walked 17. Opponents are hitting .267 against the Reading hurler. |
