Cornhuskers Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 16th , 2051 It's back to the drawing board for the Lincoln Cornhuskers. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Cornhuskers have made the playoffs 3 times in their 13 years as a 28 & Under's franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044. Lincoln last won the Round 2 in 2041. |
