O'Hamil Keeps Hit Streak Alive Wednesday, August 16th , 2051 Nathan O'Hamil, catcher for the Moose Jaw Ghostbusters, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 2 hits in his club's 9-8 victory today over the Bismark Border Guards at Roger Maris Field today. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Nathan O'Hamil singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 8th and walked in the 10th. Thus far this year O'Hamil has hit .330 with 20 home runs and 74 RBIs. |
