Great June Gets Miller CL Best Hitter Award Saturday, July 1st , 2051 For a rookie just breaking in, Carl Miller certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the CL Batter of the Month award for June. The 22-year-old center fielder for the Minnesota Death Stars hit .405 with 16 home runs, 24 RBIs and 28 runs scored. In his stats this season, Miller has posted a batting average of .350 with 103 hits in 294 at-bats, 42 home runs and 77 RBIs. He has also scored 74 runs, walked 42 times and compiled a .443 OBP. |
