Best CL Reliever Named Sunday, October 1st , 2051 At the age of 23, Michael Davis says he still has a lot to learn about life in 24 & Under's. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Minnesota Death Stars reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2051 Continental League Reliever of the Year Award. "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Seattle, Washington native said. For the season, Davis had 37 saves in 52 relief appearances, which totaled 53. He fanned 72 betters, while walking 21 and put up a record of 6-2 to go with his 1.02 ERA. He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 28. Mark Gessler of the Newport News finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Redmond Heidenfelder of the Concord Coyotes finished third.
