Mariners Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, May 10th , 2050 Maris School Mariners manager Manny Gonzáles said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. The Mariners have made the playoffs 10 times in their 38 years as a High School Stars League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 16th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2034. Maris School has won the HS Title Round 2 times in their history. |
