Juan Velázquez was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 24-4, over the Fat Cats. The El Paso center fielder was a tough out and went 5-for-5 against Ottawa in a fine hitting display.

"I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in."

Juan Velázquez singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Joaquín Orozco in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th and singled in the 6th.
