Mudcats Win Top 4 Round
It's a sweet sweep for the Bishop Verot HS Mudcats and they have won the Top 4 Round. The Bryant HS Hornets were not able to keep pace with the Mudcats and dropped the series in short order, losing, 11-5, in the deciding game.

"This wasn't really the effort we hoped for," said Bryant HS manager Rob Lynch.

It's now on to the HS Title Round for Bishop Verot HS after their 3-0 series win.

Leading the way for the winners was left fielder Danny Porter, who was named MVP. For the series, Porter hit .556 with a .733 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Bishop Verot HS Mudcats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Grand Rapids HS Summit - Shelby HS Rockets series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The HS Title Round schedule will be announced after the Top 4 Round finishes.
