Wise Holds Lancers Scoreless
The Brookline HS Warriors did little to support starter Artie Wise against the Bishop Amat HS Lancers, but it turned out he didn't need the help.

The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Lancers, striking out 8 and surrendering 2 hits. The performance from Wise allowed Brookline HS to escape with the 2-0 win, despite an anemic offense.

"Nobody came to me and said, 'Artie, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Wise told BNN reporters following the win. "I'm the guy that will step up for you when you need it."
