William Walters put on a hitting clinic at Mudcats Ballpark, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Bishop Verot HS pitchers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Joliet HS Matatdors, who still fell, 27-19.

"Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Walters told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too."

William Walters hit a solo-shot off Markus Patterson in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Markus Patterson in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jerry Stevens in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season, Walters is hitting .260 with 10 home runs.
