Oklahoma City Loses Ruíz for Year Saturday, July 17th , 2055 The season is apparently over for Gabriel Ruíz. The Oklahoma City 89ers medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 6 months with a torn rotator cuff. Ruíz was hurt in the game against Knoxville while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Ruíz's record so far this season is 4-and-0 with no saves and a 5.08 ERA. He has given up 33 hits in 39 innings with 25 strikeouts. |
