José López Named Best PCL Batter in July Sunday, August 1st , 2055 When José López stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Pacific Coast League Batter of the Month award. The young Knoxville third baseman posted a .337 batting average with 11 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 20 runs. López also worked pitchers for 19 walks to post a .450 on-base percentage. López is hitting .357 so far this season with 71 RBIs and 70 runs scored. He has 90 hits including 27 home runs, 56 walks and .479 OBP. |
