5-for-5 Day for O'Brian Friday, August 20th , 2055 It was a high-five day for Zak O'Brian, at least for a while. The Galveston second baseman got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Houston Hammertime, but they were in short supply at the end, as Houston won the game, 12-9. O'Brian finished with an impressive 5-for-5 line, but the Tides couldn't hold off the Hammertime. "Zak was hitting everything," said Tides manager Javier Deleón. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Zak O'Brian hit a solo-shot off Mark Harris in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Cristóbal Flores in the 9th.
