Going Once! Twice! Gone Again! 3 HR for Williams Monday, July 12th , 2055 Whatever Terry Williams ate for breakfast before his game against the Winnipeg Jets, it gave him some impressive power. The Gainesville right fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. His home run barrage helped the Guidos defeat the Jets, 9-8. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 3-for-4, scored 3 times, drove in 5 and put on a display that history will remember. Terry Williams hit a two-run home run off José Mata in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off José Mata in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Gustavo Piña in the 7th and walked in the 9th. To date this year, Williams is batting .230 with 11 home runs. |
