Wednesday, July 21st , 2055
Wilford Leverett went yard three times in a Delano Tigers victory over the Everett Chargers at Las Olas Riverfront Stadium.

For the day, the Delano left fielder went 4-for-5 against Everett with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Tigers to the 8-7 win.
"I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out."
Wilford Leverett singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Eric Waller in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Eric Waller in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Anastasio Aguilar in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
