Wolverines End Briggs Streak Sunday, May 16th , 2055 The 23-game hitting streak of John Briggs has come to an end. The Baylor Bears first baseman went 0-for-1 in his team's 9-4 loss to the Michigan Wolverines at Baylor Ballpark. "It's not just John who came up short," Bears manager Mike Harris said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." So far this year, Briggs has 6 home runs and a .353 batting average. |
