Playoffs Won't Happen for Golden Bears Friday, May 21st , 2055 The California Golden Bears clubhouse was dead quiet today with the realization that the club is now officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Golden Bears have missed the playoffs 39 times in their 49 years as a College Baseball franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2053. In the last 10 seasons, the Golden Bears have only made the playoffs once. California last won the National Championship in 2008. |
