Martin Belts 5 Hits Monday, April 19th , 2055 Bob Martin was sizzling at the plate. In a game played at Field of the Bullies, the Grand Rapids HS first baseman blistered the Santa Fe HS Chiefs for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace his club to a good 16-3 victory. "Martin was too tough to get out," Chiefs skipper Robbie Hopps said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Bob Martin hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Marcos Hernández in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
