Wolf Thwarts Bishop Amat HS, 5-0 Sunday, April 25th , 2055 In an outstanding mound performance, Buchanan HS Wizards starter Gene Wolf fired a complete-game shutout against the Bishop Amat HS Lancers at Vendettas Ballpark. Wolf was the key to the 5-0 Buchanan HS win. The 15-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 5 hits and no walks he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout." In 6 starts this season, Wolf has crafted a 5-0 record with a 3.79 ERA.
