3-HR Dream Game for Robinson Friday, April 30th , 2055 Richard Robinson went on an explosive hitting spree against the Maize HS Coyotes at Roswell HS Grounds, launching a trio of blasts to help the Richardson HS Eagles win, 21-2. The left fielder finished 4-for-5 with 3 runs scored and 6 RBI. "It was just one of those days," Robinson said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Maize HS skipper Tzu-yu Wan said Robinson was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Richard Robinson hit a solo-shot off Alfredo Herta in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Tom Simms in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Bob Robinson in the 7th. To date, Robinson has collected 15 hits for a .300 average. He has posted 5 home runs, scored 7 runs and driven in 17 runs. |
