Paints Celebrate Wild Card Win Monday, May 10th , 2055 While you set out to win a division each year, members of the Newport News HS Paints seemed plenty satisfied with their place as High School NL wild card winners. "The High School NL Western Division crown would have been great, but we're still in a better spot than all the teams that are going home after the regular season is over," said third baseman Jay Cook. "You can't complain." There was certainly no complaining going on as the Paints clubhouse was filed with loud music and even louder celebrations following the postseason clinch. |
