El Paso Secures Top Spot in Jeff Cole League Monday, August 30th , 2055 Winning the Jeff Cole League is a "major milestone" for the El Paso Diablos, but according to their reliever, it's only a small part of the master plan. "Win the division, get to the Round 2, win the Round 2," said Jesse Case. "That's what we've talked about doing since day one here. We're 1 for 1 so far, so that's a good start." It is the 11th time in franchise history that El Paso has won the Jeff Cole League. If the team does in fact go "3 for 3" in accomplishing the team goals, it would be the 3rd Round 2 in team history. |
