Kingston Sweeps into the Round 2
With a 12-7 victory at Marshall Field at Carter Stadium, the Kingston Knights have completed a sweep of the Washington DC Hot Sauce in the Round 1.

"On to the Round 2 and feeling good," said Rich Whittier. "I don't think our guys expected a sweep, but we'll certainly take it and rest up a bit."

For the series, Whittier hit .500 and won series MVP honors. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Kingston Knights don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Logan Swans - Atlantic City War Dogs series. Logan leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
