The Kansas City Kings electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.

Dallas shortstop Brian Kingston had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-6, to Kansas City at Kings Ball Park. Kingston was 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. Eldon Ritchey, now 1-5, was credited with the win. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 0.

Joe Charpentier was the walk-off hero for Kansas City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kings third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Charpentier told the Kansas City Chronicle.

The Kings sport a record of 47-72.
