The San Francisco Seals picked up a win at Rainbow Stadium, knocking off the Maui Wave, 3-0. On the mound for San Francisco was right-hander Troy Vogel, who played a pivotal role in the win. Roberto García, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save. The Seals' win now puts them at 58-78.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for José Árias? The San Francisco center fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Seals on top, 2-0. For the game, Árias had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
