Only one could be emerge from the 2051 World Baseball Classic and in the end it would be The United States.
Dispatching with a solid Venezuela club in the decisive final game of the tournament, there was little debate left about their legitimacy. The United States took the tournament finale over Venezuela by a final margin of 2-0.
"We had the pitching, we had the hitting and we had the defense," manager Brandon Williams said. "The boys played well in all the phases to put us here."
