5-Hit Barrage by Marshall
It was high-fives all around for Matt Marshall at The Guido Ghetto today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Gainesville Guidos. Marshall smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 21-5 win.

"Matt was hitting everything," said Tigers manager Guillermo Matos. "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Guidos manager Gerardo Ayala told BNN beat writers that Marshall "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Marshall oversleeps next time."

Matt Marshall hit a solo-shot off Sherman Robertson in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Sam Dillow in the 6th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

Marshall is currently batting .221 with 5 home runs and 19 RBIs.
