Gilmore Goes on Rampage Against Owls
Today at Riverwalk Stadium, Kevin Gilmore put on an impressive display.

The Casper Ghosts left fielder tagged Oklahoma City pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but his teammates were unable to capitalize on the spree and lost the game to the Oklahoma City Owls by the score of 11-7.

"The loss takes some of the joy out of it, but I'll take it," Gilmore said. "5-for-5 ain't bad in any league."

Despite the terrific performance, the Ghosts manager was unwilling to offer the left fielder much praise, saying the "whole roster" is held accountable for losses.

"Kevin told me 'Coach, I had 5 hits' and I said 'Well that's great, but it looks like we needed one more from you,'" manager Kyu-pyeong Pak said.

Kevin Gilmore singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off José Vázquez in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.


Currently Gilmore has 3 home runs and a .356 batting average.
